“GEONEFTEGAZ” founded more than 16 years back is engaged with
geological-geophysical investigations aimed at prospecting and exploration
of oil-gas fields and optimization of their development. A combination of
ground geophysical methods consisting of 2-D & 3-D seismic survey,
high-resolution electrical survey induced polarization prospecting (HRES-IP),
and high-accuracy gravity prospecting performed by our field units, as well
as a number of software packages and interpretation technologies are used to
solve the above tasks.
Due to
the fact that “GEONEFTEGAZ” personnel includes field geophysicists as well
as specialists in processing and interpretation of geological-geophysical
data our company successfully solves all geological tasks required both for
the general evaluation of oil & gas potential of poorly studied areas and
the delineation of discovered deposits and their preparation for the deep
exploratory and production drilling.
The
works carried out by our specialists led to a dramatic increase in the
volume of geological information that is used to solve a number of
geological-geophysical tasks (analysis of reservoir capacities of producing
rocks, delineation of oil and gas fields, reserves estimate) which used to
be tackled with traditional expensive deep drilling. As a result the
expenses for the exploration of hydrocarbon deposits are substantially
reduced and they are put into operation at a faster rate.
“GEONEFTEGAZ” executes the above investigations in West Siberia,
Urals-Volga & Timan-Pechora regions, North Caucasus and abroad (Kazakhstan,
Iran, Indonesia). The analysis of our data resulted in the discovery of more
than 40 oil & gas deposits in the above regions, the deep drilling
efficiency reached 75%.
A
high quality of our results is based on the application of modern
geophysical equipment, sophisticated computers, advanced technologies and
high qualification of specialists. Our personnel include 9 Doctors of
Sciences, 23 PhDs and more than 100 qualified geologists and geophysicists.
